Applies to all Altoria apps for Atlassian Jira Cloud. Last updated 3 September 2026.

What the app stores

Snapshots of your Jira configuration: user display names and account ids, group names and memberships, project roles, permission schemes, and application role assignments. Change records: what changed, when, the source of the record, and the account id of the actor when one is known. Copies of your Jira audit log records.

Where it is stored

In Atlassian Forge hosted storage, in the same region as your Jira site. The app has no servers of its own and makes no network calls outside Atlassian. Atlassian's data residency and security controls apply.

Who can see it

Only Jira site administrators, through the app's admin page inside Jira. Altoria does not have access to your data and does not share it with any third party.

How long it is kept

Snapshots are overwritten on each run. Change records and audit copies are kept for as long as the app is installed. Uninstalling the app deletes all app storage.

What Altoria collects about you

Nothing beyond what Atlassian Marketplace provides to partners for billing and support: your site name, the installed app, and license status. Support email you send us is kept for as long as needed to resolve the request.
